Cervical Discectomy and Fusion was performed on 40 year old female patient in Metro Hospital Faridabad

Nazia, 40 year old female patient from Iraq got admitted at Metro Hospital Faridabad with complain of severe neck pain and weakness of right upper limb. In MRI reports it was found that she has got C5-6 and C6-7 prolapsed intervertebral disease which were causing severe compression over the spinal cord.   She got admitted under Neurosurgery team (Dr. Tarun Sharma and Dr. Sachin Goel) after all examinations and evaluations she was taken up for the surgical procedure – cervical discectomy and fusion, which is a surgical procedure to treat nerve root or spinal cord compression  and putting cage and plate to stabilize the corresponding vertebrae.

Patient recovered well after the procedure, and went back to her native place hail and healthy.
